In The Gallery at Brooklyn Metal Works was established in 2011 to showcase the work of national and international artists who are making with a craft-based ethos. The gallery’s focus is to serve as an incubator space, furthering critical dialogue and engagement with the arts through a diverse range of programming encompassing installations, performance, mixed media, and sculpture. Our mission centers on providing a platform for emerging voices and unconventional perspectives while offering vital support to artists who have yet to receive broader recognition in critical, curatorial, or commercial spheres.
Located in the Brooklyn Cultural District, the collaborative setting of the gallery adjacent to the Brooklyn Metal Works studio is designed to facilitate a symbiotic relationship between the creation of art and its presentation, amplifying the artistic discourse within the context of our collections.
